{the flores family + charlie turns one!}

Even though it called for rain the day of this session and it started sprinkling while I was driving to the session, it all turned out to be perfection. Thankfully the sprinkling subsided (for the most part) and I was able to capture some wonderful, fun moments with this adorable family.

To the Flores Family — thank you for allowing me to capture these special moments for you!  And a special thanks to Rick for serving in the U.S. Marines and to his family for the sacrifices they make so that he can serve our country.

Miss Charlize turned ONE a few weeks ago, so at the end of our family session, I took some birthday pictures of her + her doting parents and they are just too cute! Happy Belated Birthday little one! xo

Family sessions are always so much fun! I love capturing family dynamics and little moments that can be held on to and cherished forever. This session also included a bit of exploring, which just topped it off! We stumbled upon a magical little area with fairytale-like statues and a pond full of lily pads. It was pretty incredible and the kids had a blast running around from statue to statue! We also said hello to some real horses, which is always a treat!

On Christmas Eve, my little love turned the big THREE!

We celebrated her big day with a bunch of balloons, a special birthday dress, angel wings, lunch with family, cake, and presents (of course). She was so excited and I think a little bit shy when everyone sang happy birthday to her. She melts my heart every day and I am so blessed to be hers.
